   I went the puzzle piece route once but if you're traveling with a
cat, it's a PITA, even if you use a sheet of plastic underneath.

  Now I've got a solid piece of foam, much like the puzzle stuff, nice
to stand on.  It came in a roll & I cut it to fit.  I can't perzactly
remember where I found it, but _think_ it came from Big Lots.
