Fuel economy seems very disappointing to me for a vehicle that small.
Elantras and Corrollas get real close and are fully functional cars. They
are attractive just like a motorcycle could be.

First, the name is annoying:  "Smart" car.  Does that mean that anyone who
does drive one is automatically "smart" and anyone who doesn't is

OK, now that my bias is right out there in the open for everyone to see,
just check out the value:  What kind of economy car can you get for the same
kind of money, and how much extra would you be spending on gas?  Is the lack
of cargo space an issue for grocery getting or whatever daily needs you
have?  I went through that whole process and the smart car did NOT come out
on top for me.
