Hi all.

Started to remove this bracket to paint it, expanded it about 1/3 then
stopped; cross bolt is tack welded, saw no point in going further. Re
clamped but bolt holes don't line up.

There is a sleeve between bracket and pipe. I don't see it in Bentley.

Is this OEM? e.g. required? If I can get it out, holes may align better.
