The bushing went in nicely using a 10mm bolt with a nut screwed down a bit more than the length of the bushing, a washer and an electrical tape wrap to just under the ID of the bushing. Guessing the first method with the bushing tapet onto a same size socket was too wobbly. Starter works fine but first run was stymied bythe fuel pressure regulator. I didn't test it after the fire so got an air plenum full of gas (through the vacuum line) Pulled an old nasty, rusty crusty regulator out of the stash but it holds vacuum. Got the gas evaporating overnight. Tomorrow will tell.
