I am currently replacing my 83.5 filler tube with a later model one that
stops that from happening.  I just finished about 30 minutes ago.  I should
have a poorly made video to go along with it in a few days.

Every time I fill up my 85 Vanagon, a relatively large amount of fuel
leaks out. As best I tell not having gotten under the van, the appears
to be at the conjunction of the filler tube and gas tank.

What's the best way to repair?
