Rumor anyway. The smaller made-in-Turkey Ford Transit Connect has been a success here (has same engine that the Bostig conversion uses). Here is what (bankrupt) Westfalia is doing with the larger Transit in Europe in case you have not seen it: http://westfalia-ford.co.uk/elevated%20roof/index.html This sells for about 50,000 in the UK or $78,000. That includes significant VATs. Both the van and conversions would have to be made/done in the US (or Mexico) to be reasonably priced. Maybe Sportsmobile will step up. At 16 in length its almost 7 shorter than the 22.6 Sprinter 2500! The US needs a modern small camper van again for the thousands who dont want a motorhome, including my kids. I hope someone figures this out. Stuart 84 Westy
