The picked ones are great shape and the bushing sleve is descent too!! Velma 82diesel 1.6 na westy On May 25, 2012 12:35 PM, "neil n" <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: Cool. Hopefully your radius arm(s) are in good shape where they pass through the frame. One of mine wasn't. pic: http://sites.google.com/site/tubaneil2/RadiusArmWorn1.jpg Otherwise, yah for sure. I would have left the radius arm (oh wait. It's called "strut bar" in Bentley. < grin > ) attached to the LCA when replacing the bushings and sleeves. You may know this, but I found that it's possible to R&R the LCA, knuckle, radius arm as a "unit". image: http://sites.google.com/site/tubaneil2/LwrContArmRmvd.jpg I'm obviously not a mechanic, so can't say this is the best way, or good practice, but it can be done. Like if I was replacing only the radius arm bushings, sleeves, and all else was in good shape, I'd take the time to remove this "unit" rather than risk snapping a bolt(s) at LCA. Neil.
