After reading Richard A. Jones's gripe about various list irritations
including my posts: ("[...] you'll see all the useless chatter where
question after question is asked by a rodent instead of just *thinking*
a second in private about whatever is passing through the mind." -- a
fair complaint, and I promise to amend that), I'd like to add my
personal gripe: Personal philosophies tacked on to the end of emails:
for example: Jim Arnott's well-meaning and thought-provoking but
ultimately off-topic sigs.

I do find the list members to be very, very helpful, even Scott's
meandering and long-winded writings give me insight into this odd world
of automobile maintenance.

But, then, I am a not a natural mechanic and I don't read in Digest
Mode. If I did, I'd feel differently.

This is not meant to elicit a bunch of responses. I'm just sayin'.

Keep the list clean.
