The Woodsboro stash is Mark I VW. He stopped participating with the listserv a long time ago due to the signal noise ratio I believe. Good guy. Unfortunately not a lot of later vans or syncros in his collection. Unfortunately, both were found during Memorial Day weekend so I was only able to look. One is on MD 194 north of Frederick, MD in Woodsboro. Probably 40 Vanagons, some marked for sale and others being parted out. The other was at the intersection of I70 and I77 near Cambridge, Oh. There are a number of forlorn-looking air-cooled VWs visible from I77. I had been there a few times in the distant past but found most of the cars well stripped out. This time, we went to the business and, even though closed, saw at least a dozen Vanagons parked around the business and not visible from the interstate. I am planning a trip back to that one in the near future as its only an hour away. The business is called the Beetle Barn. > > Tom > > Sent from my mobile phone. > > ----- Forwarded message ----- > From: "Stephen Grisanti" <bike2vcu@YAHOO.COM> > Date: Thu, Jun 7, 2012 11:05 > Subject: [VANAGON] Vanagon lot in Pulaski VA hits area news > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > > http://www.wdbj7.com/news/wdbj7-mystery-van-lot-in-pulaski-20120605,0,1324627.story > > Stephen > >
