Subject:Re: A/C hose from Compressor to Radiator

The info below is for the later model Vanagons:

The high pressure hose that goes from the compressor all the way up to
the condenser in the front of the van is not easily made up because of
the special end on it at the compressor end. I have spent several years
looking for this end and have never been able to find it. However what
you can do is to cut the old end off of your old hose, then have a
compression fitting put on that end of the new hose. Then you just
slide your old end into the compression fitting, torque it down and you
have a hose with the proper ends on each end.

I can get you one of these hoses for $125.
Or I have a good used hose from a 91 with low miles for $100

Let me know if you need any further help.
