   What Zoltan said, except I would add that you exercise extreme
caution handling, because you're dealing with old brittle plastic and
fragile foil harness connection points.

  Last time I had to get back there, I was surprised to discover that
the speedo cable was the onliest thing holding it (the speedometer) in
place.  The corner tabs holding the whole shebang to the dash enjoy
shattering too.
