Nothing dumb, other than using a highly flammable liquid/vapor to check for vacuum leaks. All it takes is one ignition source and vwooom! Saw it for myself back when I was a lowly mechanic at a VW shop in Leucadia, CA. Spray... Spray... Vwooom... Look Ma, no eyebrows. Laughed till I cried... Especially since it was the service writer! A "million" times Scott? If you did it 10 times a day, it would take you 270+ years to do a million times ;-) Cheers, Jeff -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Scott Daniel - Turbovans Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2012 1:58 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: CO Adjusting Screw, Throttle Valve Switch Test Light Video etc. On 6/27/2012 6:59 AM, Dave Mcneely wrote: > thanks, Jeff, for answering the question I had.
