Subject:Re: AC Blower Fan Speed-resistor

Take a look at the wiring diagram. The high speed is accomplished by a relay
directly feeding the fan motors. The lower speeds are done with a resistor
in series with the fan motors. It can and does burn out.

Hmmm. I have this same problem. I swapped out the blower switch with a new
one, but no change. Hoping someone else has solved this before.

What currently has me stumped is that I only have high speed (#4) on the air
conditioning blower speed. I swapped out the switch from my 89 which works
on all four speeds, but it does not work on the 87. I have scoured the
Bentley but have not been able to identify a relay that may be bad. As
always your help is much appreciated.
