I have to say the Bilstiens are one of my favorite shocks for the 2WDs. They work especially well with 16 or 17 inch wheel upgrades.

Your experience with the KYB (Kill Your Butt) shocks is the same as reported by many including me.  I went to Bilsteins (from Van Cafe) all the way around and have been very happy for 4+ years now.  But there are other solutions out there that are cheaper and I'm sure others will have those suggestions also.
