Both have the same idle test, but I think the 2500 rpm standing test is a little easier than the dyno test. There are two areas where vans tend to fail: NOX, and O2 at idle. NOX is a bad cat. O2 at idle tends to be an exhaust leak or misfire. The 86 and later vans were all 50 state versions. If all is well it will pass. Being a Syncro they will only doe the idle and 2500 rpm test. No dyno. I have a stock 1986 Syncro and I am wondering if it will or can be made to pass the Cally emission test? I don't live in Cally but might be soon. TIA, David
