I started fooling around with making modest spacer to bring my syncro front end back up a little, back to where it sat before the added weight of the Westy gear. It sits lower since I camperised it and I'm exploring the idea of a spring spacer rather than new springs (yeah, I understand the pros and cons of this approach, but indulge me). http://shufti.wordpress.com/2012/07/17/vanagon-syncro-front-spring-pad/ I also spent a little time making a tool to guide the front shock absorber threaded end back into place during shock re-install. http://shufti.wordpress.com/2012/07/17/vanagon-syncro-vw-tool-3141-substitute/ alistair
