I use gmail. and have directed all vanagon.com mail to a folder.
makes it easy to read the threads I am interested in. I keep every email.
vanagon listserve email takes up no space at all because there are no
attachments.
I also archive to thunderbird on a laptop so I can have all emails
available when I am on the
road without Internet.
