The dimensions are given on the Guenzl site. As for working in hot climates, we used this fridge last year on our 6 month 18,000 km journey into Florida, Mexico and across the northern US. ALWAYS performed as expected. We had ice cubes on the beach in Mexico whenever we wanted them. It fits right in there with no modifications of the cabinets. You will either have the change the 220v heating element to a 110v one or get a 220v to 110v converter as I did. Also, the propane fitting is not the same so I had to cut off the connection fitting and solder on one to mate up with the fitting in the van that connects to the OEM fridge. Overall it's 100% better than the RM182B ! Bigger inside, easier to start on propane, keeps its cool on all three services ALL the time ! Since I am a dealer for Guenzl Classic Parts here in Canada I could look into getting one shipped over if you decide to go with this fridge.
