One of the best things we have done is to store nearly all of our food staples in metal tins. A trip to a local "Trash and Treasure" sale and a garage sale produced about 25 tins of various sizes and shapes for $5 total. These provide storage for everything a rodent would want as well as many other things. Storage is convenient, efficient, protected, and well labeled. Ed
