I have a Galton Whistle, mine used not for calling dogs. It is an item I purchased from a university cleaning out drawers in science labs. It is actually a precision instrument once used in tests to assess hearing acuity. I think I paid a couple of dollars for it, and it probably once cost hundreds. technobabble can use real or unreal references and still be funny. mcneely
