Subject:Re: Good fuel filter arrangement?

Thanks for those pics.

The new Brazilian tank I installed looks similar. So there's no filter in
depression at tank bottom?

As per Dennis's post, I have to wonder if my high speed I-5 (70+ MPH) stall
wasn't due to the same issue; higher engine demand, hot ambient temps, (and
likely hotter than normal engine bay temps due my "ahem", design) all
causing hotter than normal fuel getting pumped out the smaller ID tank
outlet where cavitation may already have been occurring.

My pump noise may well have been happening when my air cooled engine was
still installed. With a different somewhat quieter engine, the noise may
have become more apparent.

Thanks for posting your experiences Jack. (and your reply Dennis) This may
have shed some light on my mystery stall.

Neil.
