"Let the piston meltdowns and broken rings begin." Even I, a registered Vanagon ninnyhammer, would not want to melt my pistons!* Who's seen 1.9s suffer this kind of damage from using the NGK BP6ET plugs? Chris "tencentlife" Corkin likes them and he seems to garner more respect than most. Seems he'd know whether they were damaging to our engines. But hizzoner Dennis Haynes is no slouch either. Both guys know more about these engines than I ever hope--or care--to know. So when one speaks, I listen. -- Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott 1984 Westfalia, auto trans, Bend, Ore.
