Google maps accepts Barstow just fine ~ displays it & BakersField as
129mi apart. Barstow is

70mi NNE of SanBernardino & 32mi NNE of VictorVille. It appears as
though I40 ends or begins there,

have always envisioned "The Hotel California" as being but I checked &
that's wrong.
