I wouldn't say that, judging from the whopper the member who posted the item about getting gouged $350 or whatever for a $40 cable... and that's getting it from the dealer! I would never have looked at a bill for $350 and said "Oh, that must have been for an accelerator cable." : ) Jim On Fri, Sep 7, 2012 at 1:27 PM, Scott Daniel - Turbovans < scottdaniel@turbovans.com> wrote: > perhaps how much the bill was could offer a clue , slightly. > > > > On 9/6/2012 8:15 PM, Pat wrote: > >> For those of us who like to learn, fixes with no details are frustrating >> indeed. >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.**com<vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com>] >> On Behalf Of >> Dake Collins >> Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2012 7:12 PM >> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >> Subject: transmission problem - resolved >> >> Thanks to those that offered moral support and suggestions when Wu-Wei >> went >> on strike last week.
