The Subie conditioner does also have some fillers but not like the Bars leak or others tuff like it. BTW I never used the stuff with the large pellets. Thanks. Dennis: I see what you mean. Had wondered how the Suby conditioner would positively affect a weeping (rubber? silicone?) coolant seal. Like how would it actually "condition" this part. So the Suby conditioner is designed to swell up a composite seal? Makes sense. Anyhow..... In the past, had read about Suby conditioner. Right after my recent WBX powered Vanagon purchase, bought some "just in case" (no leaks at this point). Neil. The Vanagon gaskets design is not even close. If the outer gaskets are sound but are weeping then a filler type sealer is what will work. Be advised that once the leak begins the head will corrode as the coolant mixes with air while heated and the corrosion will eventually get large enough to tear trough the gasket giving you a sudden massive failure. > > Dennis -- Neil n 65 kb image Myford Ready For Assembly http://tinyurl.com/64sx4rp '88 Slate Blue Westy to be named.
