Subject:Re: Re-use collapsible pushrod tubes? New o-rings available?

Back in the day, the accepted practice for rejuvenating pushrod tubes on an
aircooled vw was to roll it on a table with a butter knife pressed into
each accordion groove, giving the tube back its length and therefore
pressure on the o-rings.

I would at least replace the o-rings, cheap as they are and as much work as
it is to pull them.
