last week I posted a question about where the syncro fuel level sender ground to chassis - friend's '91 van had fuel gauge reading low all the time. Today I was able (during daylight, which is a great advantage) fix the problem. We were able to get the electrical connector off the sender, and boy was it a tight fit. Discovered that the ground connection in that connector was corroded, and after cleaning and reassembly, the fuel gauge worked properly.
