years ago I replaced just one steel coolant line with some marine hose. The steel pipe had developed a pinhole leak on the welded seam, not a case of rusting from outside or inside (inside was in perfect condition). Looked more like a welding inclusion. I found that the larger OD of the replacement hose made it a tight and tiring fitment job. I doubt that I could have installed 2 such marine hoses side by side along the stock route. Was not that cheap, but it sure was durable. alistair On 2012-10-18, at 5:44 AM, Kevin Gilbert wrote: > Vanagoneers, > > Has anyone out there replaced their steel coolant pipes with suitable > hose? > Is it reliable and durable?
