Each of the past three calendar years (2010, 2011, 2012), $870, $945, $1110. The last included $145 for a rain cover for the top, so that's not maintenance, but upgrade or simply an amenity. I do some of my own work, and hire out more demanding jobs. I don't expect to do much for the rest of 2012. Totals include oil and filters, but do not include gasoline, which I do not consider to be maintenance. Since I pay extra to get alcohol free fuel, that difference might properly be considered a maintenance cost, but I do not include it. mcneely ---- turbowesty <turbowesty@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > A few recent threads have me thinking about about something I pondered before buying mine, and since. > > I set an annual budget for keeping my camper on the road of $2000. That's for dealing with the expected unexpected as well as oil changes. It assumes something will break but that the ongoing investment keeps me ahead of the expensive part of the curve. > > And I assume that every 5 to 7 years some extra (major) expense will happen of up to $5000.
