2500.00 and it comes with no engine?????
You can look at it two ways.....
Option 1) 2500.00 with no engine thats to much cause zI have to put an engine in it still!!!!!
Option 2) 2500.00 with no engine...Thanks for doing the work of removing it now to replace with a stock one or conversion!!!
I personally think 2500.00 for a non running 2wd tin top is high. I'd think more 1000.00 to 1700.00 at most. I've picked up rare and odd tin top syncros for less than 1500.00!

This seller wants $2500.00, but it has no engine! as I said, it's a beautiful van, just not sure what its worth.

Sent from where ever I happen to be right now.

>> I have to bow to the experts here, I have found an '89 Vanagon for sale, seller claims (and I think he truly believes, not trying to rip anyone off) that the van is a Blue Star. It DOES have Wolfsburg Edition badges on the front fenders, it has a gray dashboard, fold out bed and two jump seats plus the fold out table. Power windows, mirrors, etc. Nice looking up holstery, don't know how to describe, kind of a slash cut pattern. Question is, is it really a Blue Star? It is a beautiful van and I'd love to have it, but seller is asking what I'd call a premium price based on the belief it is a Blue Star. Thanks, Jeff
