I be dry and with power in Annandale, VA. I took the precaution two years ago of really trimming back some trees around the place, especially marking those "widow makers". My neighbor had a monster pine, heavy on my side of the fence, that looked particularly menacing. After much talk and misdirection, I finally got the go-ahead and I paid to have his tree trimmed to protect my house. I also had the county make him trim another tree leaning out over the road and sidewalk. His attitude was, "I have insurance, they can pay for the damages." Loss of life didn't come into his equation. Go Figure ed-91 DoKa, safe and camouflaged with many wet leaves.
