A dedicated GPS does its thing, does it pretty well, and can be customized by the user. We also use a Magellan just to keep the Garmin honest. <G> Actually, Magellan has partnered with AAA, so Tour Book info is built in and can be updated from the AAA website, and IMO has better options for route calculation. YMMV. Taxes & tips not included. Geo/ATL
