Ummmm, not so fast there. The "free" replacement policy doesn't apply to ALL Craftsman tools. Years ago I broke a fairly expensive Craftsman torque wrench. Took it back to the store and was told "So sorry, torque wrenches aren't covered" Tried another store. And another. Six Sears stores in all, and caused a big scene in two of them, getting managers involved, still wouldn't replace it.
