had me wondering there ..
'aluminum head gasket' ..
must be the metal sealing rings that go on top of the cylinder barrles.
Got lots of 'em ..though not totally brand new.
Same on the rubber gasket.

Sounds like you're building what I used to call  a Masterpiece of Used
Parts.
