A recent post included an article mentioning Sears and their "house brand" tool line, Craftsman. A year or so ago, Ace Hardware started selling Craftsman Tools, and carries a fairly wide selection.

I guess I could do the research myself, but has Sears made a deal with Ace, or is Craftsman, contrary to most people's belief, not a Sears brand? An even more important question: are the tools at Ace of the same quality as the Craftsman Tools sold through Sears?
