those all fit or are adaptable.
The instrument cluster won't have a Glow Plug warning light of course ..
wiring to the instrument cluster is slightly different ..but it's all
adaptable if it's not a direct fit.

washer should be identical.
Slightly different on the heater box and controls possiby , but adaptable.

just about every part on the whole van fits or is fairly adaptable.
( upgrade to a rear heater for example )
The front spindles, forexample, have upgraded outer front wheel
bearings compared to your 82 DV..

if it has the later style parking brake handle ( most 85's do ) you want
that for sure.

there are two kinds of 85's ., early ones and later ones.
it's like they finished using up 84 parts for a while..
early 85's have metal coolant main pipes for example, later ones plastic.

you can tell if it's an 85 if it has the improved sliding door. If it
has the old hard-to-open high effort door with the longer outside handle
..it's an 84 , or even an 83 if it's a waterboxer.
if it has rectangular headlights, it's an 86 of course.

85is a really good year. The only important thing it's lacking is the
later style fuse bax with blade type fuses.
