When my single cab was hit the lexan cover on that side was destroyed but my precious e-code headlamp miraculously survived. 
I had to replace the adjusters but thankfully those are available from most vendors.  
I was able to buy another set of the headlight protectors from another listee and now I wouldn't drive without them. 

Go Trevor go! I know of 2 other e-code wearing Vanagons that need a set.
