Window cleaner works well, just as it does for the seats and carpet. I guess soap would work, but drying time might be a factor, and I would not want to have them retracted wet. But, after cleaning, they retracted much more smoothly and quickly. If the mechanism itself could be cleaned, I am sure that would be even better, but at least I no longer have tangled belts laying around. If someone has a simple way to clean the mechanism, I would appreciate knowing it. mcneely > > and > > very noisy windshield wiper mechanism.... sounds like the drive, not the > motor...any suggestions on how to quiet it down? > > Bill M > Yellow I4 tintop > Blue '89 westy -- David McNeely
