Girl-friends car:

1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Two-door
Loses coolant - but doesn't leak.
Top off coolant - start the journey....
Engine nearly overheats - no heat from the heater core. Then the engine
cools, and there is heat from the heater core. Then in a few miles, the
cycle repeats itself. And more coolant has to be added. NO ONE has been
able to find a coolant leak.

BTW - engine runs fine - no misses, skips or the like as if water was
inside a cylinder.

If anyone has ideas, would love to hear from you.
