I think you're makin' up that biodegradle part.. or ....OK, biodegrades in 500 years. I just looked at my gallon jog of Dexcool.. says WARNING ! 'contains ethylene glycol' .. says do not drink, do not breath mist or vapors. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Avoidskin and eye contact. In other words ..it's a deadly poison. perhaps you are thinking of a less poisonous a-frz. The common brand is Sierra .. I think it's propylene glycal rather than ethylene. It won't kill your dog ...or at least not as well as ethyleneglycol will. I love this Frank Zappa quote ..goes something like .. 'Scientists say the universe is made up of mainly Hyrdrogen. I disput that ...it's made up mainly of stupidity' ... something close to that. Google it perhaps for the exact wording. . We wouldn't want groupmembers thinking they can poor out their oil Dexcool on the groundafter all. On 12/9/2012 4:19 PM, JRodgers wrote: > Same here - DEXCOOL for years - never a problem.
