Volks, you're sending to the wrong address.  The correct address is
<listserv@gerry.vanagon.com> and the body of your message should say:

CONFIRM VANAGON
END

You can compose a message like that, or you can forward the original
message you received, but either way it has to go to the listserv
address, not to the list.
