DMV in Russia doesn't require any camera's or other recording devices, although like in any lawless country is helpful to have one. Helps to fight DMV corruption and again lawlessness. Other country with same road situation is China. They also post quite a lot of crazy driving videos on Youtube :) Nick On Sat, Dec 15, 2012 at 10:24 AM, Anthony Egeln <regnsuzanne@yahoo.com> wrote: > I'm guessing that the Russian DMV requires a forward looking camera in all vehicles to > document mishaps. > > Anyone confirm that? > > Anthony > '89 Syncro GL (Hidalgo) > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Rob <vwrobb@GMAIL.COM> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Sent: Friday, December 14, 2012 7:02 PM > Subject: Re: friday - driving in russia > > That was good, how do they get that much material? > > Rob > vwrobb@gmail.com > > At 12/14/2012 01:16 PM,Alistair Bell wrote: >>one of those fun videos >> >>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXz4P6EpX3s >> >>alistair
