The ones I cut for my Westy are from 1" OD PVC, 8.125" long.� However, I never actually got them installed because I bought two new "strong" struts that hold the hatch up well, still after six years.� Incidentally, the new ones support the hatch with an empty Saris Bones bike rack on it, but not with a bike on that rack.� The PVC struts might help with a bike's weight but I have not explored this yet.
