great question, Jack ! had this happen to me about a week ago. thought the bottle cracked since I very rarely use washers. been too cold for rolling around the ground and now, (whew); I don't have to. thanks to Neil, Jim and Scott. the brain cramp to overlook the Bentley was all me however. � � �=(:|) � � � � � mike , still on the road to experience�

Subject: windshield fluid reservoir
 
I just filled mine. It's been a long time since I've needed to. I
noticed that after I put in some fluid -- more than a liter -- fluid
started dripping off the reservoir bottle on the underside of the car.
Is that thing vented to prevent overfilling and soaking the carpet?
