RE: Headed South I'mm on the same route a couple of days behind but will end up in Death Valley. Cold but easy driving on New Years Day from about Tacoma south, no in Cottage Grove, Or. Will probably stay on I-5/99 and go into DV from the south, 395 down through to DV is very cold right now. More reports along the way.
