Remove the steering wheel and take a look at the return mechanism. You will see what needs to be cleaned and lubed. Dennis, And I still can't type on this Windows 8 Phone! ________________________________ From: Rocket J Squirrel<mailto:camping.elliott@GMAIL.COM> Sent: 1/18/2013 7:55 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM<mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Subject: Turn signal switch reluctant to return to "off" At first I thought this might be related to below-freezing temps gumming things up, but these past few days haven't been very cold and the problem persists. The turn indicator doesn't auto-off reliably when the steering wheel is returned to neutral after making a turn. Some worn-out part, I expect. -- Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott 1984 Westfalia, auto trans, Bend, Ore.
