I have to come clean, or clarify - the TIG welding on the stainless was done by friend. Trust me, I am still struggling with TIG on stainless, the arc is so small, I have trouble seeing and gauging puddle size. I'm a bit better on aluminum, and I did the aluminum brackets on the muffler. But I am practicing every day, after a few thousand more hours I might be able to make a neat small bead on stainless :) Next project is to make a rear bumper out of aluminum. I'll use the MIG welder for that. alistair On 2013-02-04, at 8:31 PM, Scott Daniel - Turbovans wrote: > Quite beautful . > And a great excuse/opportunity to tig weld. > > How do you like it so far ? > You could be doing engine coversion headers n' stuff like that. > > > On 2/4/2013 6:36 PM, Alistair Bell wrote: >> This last weekend I finally realised a dream of a lifetime :) Yes, I installed my homemade muffler in my van.
