A little bit of "Super Lube" should do the trick. Clear-non Staining should
it get someplace it shouldn't. Disconnect the cable form the speedo head and
spray some into the speedo. It should work its way up and quiet things.

Subject: noisy speedometer

Got about 8 above zero here in the North land, and got the itch to take the
van down the road. Gotta say I love the the torque biasing differential I
installed a few years ago. Plowed through 10 inches of snow in my driveway,
and then down a very slippery ice covered backstreet. I know full well
without the torque biasing differential I would've been stuck in the
driveway.

Anyway, wasn't long before the speedometer was squealing like a pig. If I
recall correctly from reading a thread from a few years back, it's not so
much the cable as the actual speedometer. I think somebody sprayed some lube
to quiet things down but can't remember what was used and the procedure.
Could anyone enlighten me?

Cheers,

Troy
