Subject:blinking coolant light
From:Bill MacLachlan

hi all.
Time for some list help...

Drive across town this pm. Coolant light starts blinking.
The temperature gauge needle is right where it should be - in the middle.
The engine is not hot.
There is enough coolant in the tank.
The V belts are tight.

I'm thinking a sensor has gone sideways or a ground.

What's the most likely culprit ?

thanks all.
