Well I blame the window tint more than anything.

As for the club that isn't a club, association, or social group, you
need an aftermarket back up light to join.

Got the light installed. Ended up using a  ~ 2.5" x 7"  piece of scrap
stainless sheet for the "hidden" bracket behind the bumper (as per
Alistair's install)

Nothing smoked or melted when I hit the switch so I'm winning already.
